The Sr. Manager, ACUVUE® Global Brand Management supports the Beauty Contact Lens Brand while aligning to and helping to drive the Masterbrand ACUVUE®, in addition to driving effective and efficient Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and execution with Regions. This position focuses on the GTM portfolio strategy (consumer, professional, digital for Beauty Brand) with Global IPG Agency Leader work streams, in partnership with the Innovation & Pipeline GSM team. Also in partnership with the Innovation & Pipeline team, contributes to the Business Plan creation and implements actions from the Strategic Plan based on Company priorities for the Beauty Brand. This role is responsible for partnering with Regional leads to assist with development of Global Share, Sales and Brand Health targets for the Beauty Brand family.
Adheres to environmental policy, procedures, and supports department environmental objectives. Engages in Credo-based decision-making.
The Sr. Manager, ACUVUE® Global Brand Management for Beauty Brand responsibilities include; Help build the ACUVUE® brand with focus on the Beauty Brand including brand definition architecture, and ensuring equity design guidelines; Focus on the positioning of the Beauty Brand within the Global portfolio of sub-brands (positioning, differentiation, integrated messaging) across consumer and eye care professional audiences with an external view to winning in the global marketplace for the Beauty Brand in partnership with the Director; Assist with creation of Beauty Brand messaging strategy and programming/integrated communications; Support the launch of New Product(s) with aligned positioning and integrated communications strategy for ECP and Consumer with seamless collaboration of platform leads with focus on marketplace readiness and organizational readiness; Provide input to Director in developing communications objectives/framework for Beauty Brand that adheres to overall ACUVUE® Masterbrand approach to ensure creative and messaging is delivered for Consumers and Professionals in Regions; Collaborate with Global Strategic Insights to provide marketplace relevant insights and implications for Beauty Brand demand generation (inputs into communications strategy, messaging, and mediums intended for ECP and Consumer Audiences that deliver measurable business and brand results.); Partner with Global Strategic Insights to assess demand responsiveness to enable a more effective and efficient marketing mix in key markets for Beauty Brand in conjunction with role of total portfolio of Global Brands. Additionally, the Sr. Manager, ACUVUE® Global Brand Management Beuauty Brand will; Support the delivery of Claims and Evidence-based messaging through strong collaboration with Global Strategic Insights and Global Professional, Medical, Clinical Affairs Teams for consumer-facing and ECP-facing audiences for Beauty Brand; Ensure implementation and management of complex research to support development of competitive responses/action plans through to assets delivery in a proactive and reactive orientation for Beauty Brand; Assist with development of business plans with a global rollup; Participate in the ESOP process to ensure global forecast management (planning and supply) vetting from regional feeds and, if needed, supply prioritization; Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA or equivalent is strongly preferred. A qualified candidate will possess a minimum of Five (5) to eight (8) years of progressive marketing experience or equivalent is required with a minimum of four (4) years of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience and/or with medical device experience preferred. Global brand management experience preferred with a demonstrated record of marketing leadership including integrated communications/advertising delivery, new product launches, business plan development, and/or classical marketing training. Prior experience working with market research, advertising agencies and agency management is strongly preferred. A demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional and senior management to impact decision-making is required as well as a demonstrated track record in identifying winning consumer insights, growth opportunities, and priorities. Prior experience in healthcare professional marketing a plus. Prior experience in the Beauty industry is strongly preferred. Prior commercial line management experience with coaching and mentoring skills to develop team members is strongly preferred. Prior experience working with Legal, Regulatory and Global partners preferred. This role will also require full, direct supervisory responsibilities for a department or function. Under general supervision, works within established guidelines and has flexibility as to method, priority and timing of job duties. Requires some amount of initiative and judgment.
