McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc markets a broad range of over-the-counter products, including TYLENOL® acetaminophen products, ZYRTEC® and BENADRYL® allergy medicines, IMODIUM® A-D anti-diarrheal, MOTRIN® IB, Mylanta antacid products, and SUDAFED® nasal decongestants.
The Senior Manager, Business Improvement is an internal consultant and change agent responsible for leading process improvement initiatives and delivering improved business results across the McNeil OTC supply chain. Working with key business partners across the organization, to include Manufacturing, Quality, Compliance, Consent Decree, Technical Operations, Project Management, Planning, and Procurement, the Business Improvement Manager will lead, coach and support teams to improve key processes and drive superior performance in compliance, quality, efficiency, reliability and customer service.
Working closely with the Process Excellence Leaders and key stakeholders across the organization, the candidate will support the development, deployment and execution of the continuous improvement strategy for the McNeil OTC Supply Chain. The candidate will lead, coach and mentor high-impact improvement projects and drive appropriate usage of problem solving tools and techniques to support critical business needs and emerging issues. The candidate will work with business leaders to identify, prioritize and manage improvement activities, and will ensure realization of benefits. The Business Improvement Manager will support the development and execution of our strategy to build PE Capabilities across the end to end Supply Chain. The candidate will play a key role in managing the overall Supply Chain business improvement portfolio of projects.
The Business Improvement Manager will partner with key stakeholders to transform the culture by embedding a continuous improvement mindset and best in class process improvement capability through all levels of the organization. The candidate will build organizational capability in supported business areas through the deployment of Process Excellence improvement methodologies (Lean Thinking, Six Sigma, Design Excellence, Zero Defect), coaching, leading, and mentoring project teams, and supporting the development and execution of the McNeil PE training strategy.

Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. A focused degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Science, Operations Management or related field is preferred; an advanced degree is a strong plus. A minimum of 8 years of business experience is required. Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and / or Consumer Healthcare experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Product Development, or Process Excellence is preferred. The candidate should be a driven, self starting, results-oriented leader with excellent communication, analytical, change management and presentation skills. Experience in developing, deploying, and leading Six Sigma, Lean, Design Excellence and/or Zero Defect programs strongly preferred. Candidate must have earned at least a Green Belt level certification; Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification is a plus. Successful experience leading and working with cross-functional teams strongly preferred. The successful candidate must be able to rapidly gain credibility across functions and levels in a dynamic and fluid environment and have a demonstrated ability to work independently and execute multiple projects concurrently. Located in Fort Washington, PA and may require to 30% domestic and international travel.
