Description

Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health Care, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for an Associate Brand Manager, HEALTHY ESSENTIALS®, located in Skillman, NJ.

Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health Care, a division of McNeil PPC and the Johnson & Johnson Group of Consumer Companies, develops, manufactures, and markets consumer packaged goods sold worldwide and recommended by professionals. The product line includes oral care, topical health care, nutritionals and personal care products.

This position reports into the Marketing Director (D1) responsible for the HEALTHY ESSENTIALS® platform.

HEALTHY ESSENTIALS® is a key strategic asset for the U.S. Consumer Group as it is a fully integrated platform that brings together all the U.S. Consumer Groups brands from each of its different business units including Consumer Health Care, Skincare and McNeil OTC representing $5 billion in sales.

The HEALTHY ESSENTIALS® platform is relatively new and it has grown exponentially since its launch in January 2012 and is now moving into a dramatic expansion into a more comprehensive and strategic platform that will establish a long-term CRM capability for the U.S. consumer group. This platform has a potential to deliver $0.5B of incremental sales to Consumer US and is expected to deliver up to $150MM in the next 5 years.

The Associate Brand Manager will support the platform in the following areas: delivering the business plan for the HEALTHY ESSENTIALS® brand, execution of key multi-brand programs and platforms for Marketing - including the four Group Events and 5 Aligned Date events that span across the U.S. Consumer Group brands. This individual will be responsible for leading and executing the business plans to deliver expectations for the brand, as well as the development of current and/or future brand forecast, including managing budget to support financial objectives.

Additionally, the Associate Brand Manager will partner with the Digital Center of Excellence (DCoE) on digital and CRM initiatives and support Media planning for the brand. S/he will also partner with cross-functional teams - e.g. Sales, Market Research, Finance, DCoE, IT, Brand Teams - to drive key multi-brand initiatives through HEALTHY ESSENTIALS®. These initiatives include: Univision corporate partnership and 2014 FIFA World Cup corporate sponsorship for North America as well as Consumer Platforms for Consumer Health Care. Specific responsibilities will include: marketing program execution, aiding in designing the marketing plan and executing its programs, advertising and media development, business analysis & ongoing tracking – that support strategic business objectives & delivers on key metrics (e.g. +1 market basket, CRM & cross-brand synergy targets).

Qualifications


A minimum of a BA/BS in marketing or a related business field is required. An MBA is preferred. A minimum of two years Commercial and/or Marketing experience within the Consumer Package Goods environment is required. Candidates must have strong analytic, strategic, organizational and communications skills. Candidates must be results oriented, have demonstrated leadership abilities and work within a cross-functional team. Ability to work in a matrixed organization preferred. Experience in the following areas is preferred: Brand/Product Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Business Development, New Product Development, Advertising/Media, Consumer Promotions, Public Relations, Market Research, Contract/Pricing Management, Reimbursement, Sales Strategy/Field Sales, and working with external Agencies. This position requires up to 20% domestic travel.
