Overview:
Key responsibilities include working business functions like clinical, customer service, marketing, and professional education to gather requirements build processes in this role include account management, project management, project delivery, vendor management and maintenance of systems and services that are specific to a commercial franchise. Further details of the responsibilities of this position include solution strategy and architecture, project and portfolio management, process analysis, data analysis, budget management (both capital and expense),website build (delivery and support), healthcare knowledge, ERP knowledge and Customer Relationship function with the IT Shared Services organization (ITS).
Major responsibilities will include business relationship management, business analysis, project management, application support management, IT strategy and IT administration and management.
Key Job Activities:
The incumbent will deliver strategic initiatives, programs or projects and identify research as well as validate innovative solutions applying the concepts of appropriate methodologies. The person in this role will anticipate and resolve issues/barriers that impede progress and meet or exceed customer requirements with respect to time, cost efficiency & business value. The person in this role will ensure and/or develop appropriate methodologies, policies and procedures to deliver business solutions. The person in this role will lead, influence and negotiate to achieve business strategies & deliver results for internal/external partner(s and apply knowledge of industry and competitive environment in all facets of daily job functions as well as ensure projects comply with standard process. The incumbent will participate in the budgeting process and/or manage project budgets.
The person in this roll will exhibit personal commitment to knowledge seeking and sharing behaviors by modeling those behaviors and conveying similar expectations to those in the organization and ensure that J&J information assets are appropriately identified and valued, and are protected by complying with and enforcing all local and worldwide security policies, and ensure that security is considered and emphasized in all IT plans and actions.
The incumbent will maintain J&J IT relationships within MDD, Mentor, West Coast, EMEA and actively work to prioritize IT solutions with the key functional leaders, anticipate and avoid process or technical problems and implement and support strategic architectures that enable the Mentor business, but can also be used more broadly.
The incumbent will proactively create & oversee development & execution of integrated business/technology strategies for assigned business partner communities and implement value proposition process for approved IM solutions. The person will interface & manage tactical/strategic relationships with business partners by promoting IT capabilities and participate as extended team member for key business/IT initiatives.

Education & Experience:
The person in this role must possess approximate experience or equivalent knowledge and skills necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities. The incumbent must possess SDLC experience. The person in this role must have 8+ years experience in IT with four-year degree. Having a MBA or Masters is preferred. The person in this role must have knowledge in Commercial Website framework, Digital, Project Management methodology and Staff development.
This position is located in Santa Barbara, CA and requires up to 25% travel.
